۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
