And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor can you lead the blind when they have gone astray. You can make none hear except those who believe in Our signs and have come to peace and submission. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
