Al-Najm 3 of 3
Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
