The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
