The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
