1/2 Hizb 45

۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 On that day they will all share the torment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha ill-Allah "(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)," they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 35 And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 “You surely have to taste the painful punishment.” 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 But the chosen servants of God; 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 Facing one another on thrones. 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 and then he looks and sees that [companion of his] in the midst of the blazing fire, 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Indeed it is a tree that sprouts from the base of hell. 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 They can only return to hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 and We had sent among them Messengers to warn them. 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74
