Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed time? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 So like golden camels." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
