Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
