Say thou: Allah sufficeth for witness between me and you: He knoweth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. And they who believe in falsehood and disbelieve in Allah, those: they shall be the losers. 52 They ask you to hasten the punishment. Had there not been an appointed time for it, the punishment would already have come to them. Indeed it will come down upon them suddenly and catch them unawares. 53 They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily! Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers. 54 On the day when the chastisement shall cover them from above them, and from beneath their feet; and He shall say: Taste what you did. 55 O my bondmen who believe! Lo! My earth is spacious. Therefor serve Me only. 56 Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. 57 And those who believe and work righteous works - them We shall surely settle in lofty dwellings of the Garden whereunder the rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers. 58 those who are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 59 And how many a living creature that does not carry its sustenance: Allah sustains it and yourselves; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 60 If you ask them: 'Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' They will say: 'Allah'; How perverted they are! 61 Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything. 62 And if you ask them who it is that sends down water from the sky and revives the earth with it after its death, they will surely answer, "God." Then praise be to God. But most of them do not understand. 63
