O Prophet, enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women, to draw a part of their outer coverings around them. It is likelier that they will be recognised and not molested. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 therein to dwell for ever; they shall find neither protector nor helper. 65 On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they shall say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path; 67 Our Lord, give them chastisement twofold, and curse them with a mighty curse!' 68
