No calamity befalls unless God dispenses. He guides the heart of whosoever believes in God; and God has knowledge of everything. 11 And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification. 12 God -- there is no god but He. And in God let the believers put their trust. 13 O you who believe! Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allah), therefore beware of them! But if you pardon (them) and overlook, and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 14 Your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation, whereas with God there is a tremendous reward. 15 Therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah as much as you can, and hear and obey and spend, it is better for your souls; and whoever is saved from the greediness of his soul, these it is that are the successful. 16 If you lend a good loan to Allah He will multiply it for you and will forgive you. Allah is the Thankful, the Clement. 17 The All Knowing of all things hidden and visible, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 18
