But what is the matter with those who deny the truth, that they come hastening towards you 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does everyone of them wish to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 Hence, leave them to indulge in idle talk and play [with words] until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs which they have been promised 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
