(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
