The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
