The Elephant (Al-Feel)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) not seen how your Lord dealt with the Owners of the Elephant? [The elephant army which came from Yemen under the command of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending to destroy the Ka'bah at Makkah]. 1 Did He not put their scheme into ruin? 2 And He sent against them flights of birds 3 (While) you were pelting them with stones of porphyritic lava, 4 and made them like straw eaten up (by cattle). 5
