And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 The Faithful Spirit has descended with it, 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so, We have caused it to enter into the hearts of harmdoers: 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 and then they will say: 'Shall we be respited' 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]: 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every sinful, false one. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets -- the perverse follow them; 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
