And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in God; thou art upon the manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
