Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
