We created man -- We know the promptings of his soul, and are closer to him than his jugular vein -- 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 The human being will certainly experience the agony of death 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
