And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
