Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 Let the human being reflect that from what he has been created. 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 issuing between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 And no trifle. 14 They are devising guile, 15 And I am plotting a plot. 16 So leave the unbelievers to themselves; respite them awhile. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
