۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire! 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 "What is the matter with you that you do not help each other?" 25 No, today they will resign themselves in submission, 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe -- 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 Save the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 on couches facing each other. 44 Cups of wine will be presented to them in rounds, from a spring flowing in front of them. 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 A speaker of them saith: Lo! I had a comrade 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Then he will say [to his blessed companions], "Are we not going to die, 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Verily this! that is the supreme achievement. 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 The dwellers of hell will eat that fruit and fill-up their bellies. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 74
