Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
