Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. 153 Do not say that those killed in the Way of Allah are dead, they are alive, although you are unaware. 154 And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient, 155 Who say when assailed by adversity: "Surely we are for God, and to Him we shall return." 156 On those will be prayers and mercy from their Lord, those are guided. 157 ۞ Indeed Safa and Marwah are among the emblems of Allah: it is, therefore, no sin for him, who performs Hajj or `Umrah to the House of AIIah, to run between the two hills; and Allah knows and appreciates him who does any good with a willing heart. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful. 160 Verily those who disbelieve, and die while they are infidels, these it is on whom shall be the curse of Allah and the angels and mankind all. 161 Their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be reprieved. 162 Our Lord is the only Lord. There is no God but He, the Beneficent and Merciful. 163
