It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 It is He who scattered you in the earth, and to Him you shall be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'Will you not then be godfearing?' 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 We have brought before them the Truth, and there is no doubt that they are lying. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
