If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 and that We have subjected them to men's will, so that some of them they may use for riding and of some they may eat, 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 And yet they have taken gods, other than Allah, so that they might be helped! 74 They cannot help them, for them (the so called) army are brought (with them to Hell). 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he has struck for Us a parable, and forgotten his own creation. He asks: 'Who will quicken the bones after they have decayed' 78 Say: "He who created you the first time. He has knowledge of every creation, 79 He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is! 82 So all glory to Him who holds all power over everything, to whom you will go back in the end. 83
