The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
