Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
