Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the sky is split, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
