The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
