And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Indeed, We purified them with a most pure quality, the remembrance of the Everlasting Life. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 the Gardens of Eden whose gates shall be open to them, 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what they had been promised for the Day of Judgment. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 They will suffer in hell. What a terrible dwelling! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
