The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers: 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who broke the Word of Allah into several parts. (Those who broke the Torah / Bible or changed its text – or those who called the Qur’an a fabrication / poetry.) 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 For all their deeds. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
