We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
