Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 relieved you of the burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 Have We not raised your remembrance? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Then when thou becometh relieved, toil; 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
