Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
