Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
