The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
