(O Muhammad), recite in the Book the account of Abraham. Most surely he was a man of truth, a Prophet. 41 Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing? 42 O my father! truly the knowledge has come to me which has not come to you, therefore follow me, I will guide you on a right path: 43 "O my father! Do not worship Satan - for, verily, Satan is a rebel against the Most Gracious! 44 O my father, I fear lest a punishment from Ar-Rahman should befall you, and you should become a friend of the Devil." 45 He said: "Are you averse to my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I shall have you stoned to death. So go away for a while from me." 46 Abraham said, "Peace be with you. I shall ask my Lord to forgive you; He has been gracious to me. 47 And I renounce you and that unto which ye call beside Allah; and I shall call unto my Lord; belike in calling unto my Lord I shall not be unblest. 48 Then when he had renounced them and that which they worshipped beside Allah, We bestowed on him Is'haq and Ya'qub and each one We made a prophet! 49 And We gave them Our mercy, and assigned for them a true and high repute. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
