[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 so that they may understand me. 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Harun, my brother. 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 and may remember You much. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 When We revealed to your mother what was revealed; 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
