Seest thou one who turns back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
