Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 about the guilty ones: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
