AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Moses said to him: "May I follow thee, on the footing that thou teach me something of the (Higher) Truth which thou hast been taught?" 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 "And how can you have patience about a thing which you know not?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
