Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then, We will save those who were cautious of Us, but the harmdoers shall be left there hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 And how many of the generations have We destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
