۞ Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." 46 Say: Whatever reward I might have asked of you is yours. My reward is the affair of Allah only. He is Witness over all things. 47 Say thou: verily my Lord hurleth the truth: the Knower of things hidden. 48 Proclaim, “The truth has come, and falsehood dare not commence nor return.” 49 Say: 'If I go astray, then I go astray only against myself; if I am guided it is because of that which my Lord has revealed to me. He is the Hearer, and the Near' 50 Would that you could see how the unbelievers will be terrified by death from which they cannot escape. They will be seized from a nearby place 51 They will then say: “We believe in it”; but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place? 52 For they had disbelieved in it before; and they hurl allegations without seeing, from far away. 53 And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt. 54
