And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
