Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 Therefore wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 Prostrate before Him and glorify Him extensively during the night. 26 Surely these love the transitory and neglect a grievous day before them. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty. 31
