Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
