The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When the sun is overthrown, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 the mountains are scattered about as dust, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and when paradise is brought into view: 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 And the night when it departs, 17 and the morn as it breathes. 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds: 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. 29
