Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence - 1 A Messenger from Allah reciting Purified Pages 2 Containing correct scriptures. 3 Nor did those to whom the Book had been given split up until after the Proof (of the Right Way) had come to them. 4 Yet all that they had been commanded was that they serve Allah, with utter sincerity, devoting themselves exclusively to Him, and that they establish Prayer and pay Zakah. That is the Right Faith. 5 The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters shall be for ever in the Fire of Gehenna (Hell). They are the worst of all creatures. 6 Indeed those who accepted faith and did good deeds – it is they who are the best among the creation. 7 Their recompense is with their Lord; Gardens of Eden, underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Allah is wellpleased with them, and they are wellpleased with Him. That is for he who fears his Lord! 8
