[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed]. 71 Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road. 72 They had almost led you away from what has been revealed to you, that you may invent things about Us besides those revealed, when they would have taken you as friend. 73 If We had not made you stand firm, you would almost have inclined towards them a little. 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And indeed it was close that they frighten you in the land for them to oust you from it – and if it were, they would not have stayed after you, but a little. 76 (Such was Our) method in the case of those whom We sent before thee (to mankind), and thou wilt not find for Our method aught of power to change. 77
